REFUSE REMOVAL
  • The council keeps its area clean and maintained in terms of providing the   services of refuse removal on weekly basis to its residentials,businesses and institutions.

SEWERAGE
  • The village has sewerage network reticulation for the residentials,businesses and institution were they are all connected to the main sewerage reticulation that pumps to through the pump station and pumped to the sewerage pond that is situated outside the village.
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
  • The houses within the local authority of Aroab are fully electrified through the national grid and we maintain the electrical infrastructure as well as providing street lights for the safety of the inhabitants and the visitors,
  • Majority of our customers are using prepaid electricity which is available at the council main office building.
  • The services of purchasing electricity are available Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 16:30 PM.
  • Weekends are sold on certain weekends as determined by the council from 10:00 AM to 13:00 PM.
PROPERTIES

The properties within the council jurisdictions are administered and registered in terms of the Local Authority Act no 23 of 1992 as ammendent.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICE

The council provide public transport service to the member of the public on the following days Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the bus can be hire for any other transportation needs by member of the public, church group or school activity at date and time determined by the clients

ACCOMODATION RENTAL
  • The council lease houses to tenants for long term accommodation purpose.
PROVIDE OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATION FACILITIES TO TRAVELLERS
  • The council provide overnight sell catering accommodation facilities to travelers and tourist.
  • Camping site is also available.
WATER SUPPLY
  • The council provide portable clean water to all the inhabitants through Namwater as the main custodian.
  • We maintain the infrastructure within our water network
  • We repair pipe burst within reasonable time.
  • We network regarding water supply with Namwater
  • Illegal connection is punishable by law
  • Meter reading are conducted every 15th of each month in order to prepare the billing
  • The services of payment of water accounts and purchasing of prepaid water is available Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 16:30 PM.
  • Weekends are sold on certain weekends as determined by the council from 10:00 AM to 13:00 PM.
  • The residents are advised to use water sparingly as the supplier face low water supply during summer seasons

  • Fix all leakages within your premises
  • Don’t leave water running through the taps or shower while not in use.
