Ongoing capital projects
- Construction and maintenance of roads this project is funded by Road Fund Administration
- Servicing of the reception area Sonop funded under NPC through the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development
- Renovation of council guesthouses funded by Ministry of Urban and Rural Development
- Renovation of fencing in the townland funded by Ministry of Urban and Rural Development
- Build Together Program
- 14 Houses funded by Ministry of Urban and rural Development
- 10 houses funded by the Trust Fund
Local and International Cooperation and Relations
The council has approached the following local authorities for possible memorandum of understanding and twinning agreement.
- City of Windhoek the negotiation is in progress
- Dawid Kruiper Municipality in South Africa the discussion is in progress for possible twinning agreement under the ||Kharas Regional Council and Northern Cape Province twinning agreement.
